The Mechanicsville TEA Party was formed to a give a voice to the citizens of our community with the goal of restoring and promoting the principles and values set forth by the Founding Fathers of our great nation.  We are a non-profit, non-partisan organization that affirms the rights of every individual regardless of race, creed or national origin, to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness.  We believe in the tenets of free markets, limited government, fiscal responsibility and adherence to the Constitution of the United States of America.  Our goals are to effectively impact our community through civil discourse, education and the unwavering determination to hold our elected officials accountable to these ideals.
